Bundled with ScanShell® 1000 -Passport scanner

idScan® for Passports is one of idScan's easy-to-use scanning modules.The passport reader scans passports & driver licenses, and provides you with both the image of the document and the text information arranged in appropriate text fields. The extracted image and data can be saved to a file or the clipboard, or exported to any other application, email, FTP and the web.

idScan® for passport is available for developers with our standard idScan utility (illustrated in the screen shot) as well as with our powerful SDK tools
with support for C++, Visual Basic and many other programming tools and languages.

Scanners

idScan® OCR Passport scanner comes with a variety of scanners. All scanners are twain compatible, color with a resolution of 600 dpi. The scanners connect to the computer's USB port, thus requiring no external power supply.
