The magnetic ID reader module of idScan® reads magnetic stripes of driver licenses, and extracts the data into an external file or the clipboard. The id reader has a reading and processing speed of 1-2 seconds per ID card, idScan's magnetic ID reader is the ideal solution for customer service offices and counters.

The magnetic id reader module of idscan® starts analyzing the data on the magnetic strip automatically as soon as the driver´s license is swiped, and saves the data to a text file or the clipboard.

Full automation of the idScan® process allows you to chain-feed media into the MagShell® 900 magnetic card reader, while the processing takes place in the background. The MagShell® 900 id reader is capable of reading any AAMVA and ISO compliant driver's license with a magnetic strip.
